Clicking BR by mistake...

I've browsed and read my unresolved discussions for the Best Response. Suddenly, I saw a familiar picture/avatar on one of the respondents and I clicked that picture to view the profile. But, it's too late to realize that I choose a BR by mistake. Are there any possibilities to correct mistake like this? Because, it is unfair to those who give their best to respond in that discussion. Thanks!
