Hello Lotters, At back of my mind, this will be the case because Noynoy ONLY wants to work with people that he knew and comfortable working with. not to mention he want also people who are affirmed to his principles. I never heard him he's choosing people based on their track records and they're the best in the field, only he mentioned competent. NOw, the Abias is recently reporting groups who have actually felt offended where Noynoy is really choosing people in his closed cycle to be his cabinet, most specially the rumored entire family almost in every government position under PNOY. most of the Appointees are known or have work with Noynoy Before. What are your views?????? you think it will help us or he believed they will help us. Mirriam Santiago has already express disappointed on appointing an entire family to his Admin.

If you are the leader, you want to work with someone you are comfortable with and who share your principles. How do you measure who is the best in the field? For every person who says that he is the best, there will be people who will object. PNoy said that for every name discussed for a position, there are ten people who will have something to say. Besides, being able to solve a problem is not exclusive to the best people. We have elected PNoy and with it comes his solutions to the problems as he laid out in his platforms. As long as the people appointed are on the same page as our president, then I don't mind.

Hello there, I guess i am being a bit naive, i didn't realize that it's too early for me to judge his performance. probably, we should just wait and see. well, i didn't elect him, that's one thing for sure. How do you measure who is the best in the field? well, past performance of course, related to the job they have now as a cabinet? does that count???

i am not really into politics but one cannot help but notice the fact that yes... it's true. just an observation. all his appointees are people he have worked with, people who worked for his mom during her presidency, people who worked in his campaign or supported him and those who are family members and friends of the family. it may be his prerogative as the national leader and the advantage of the party he is affiliated with but i do understand that it may send an impression to other government and elected officals his distrust in the people and the system. he may be alienating current officials that may result to them not working for or with him and his visions. but still i cannot judge what i don't fully comprehend since the grand plan has yet to take an effect. he's a newbie. regardless of what his parents' wonderful track record was... when it comes to his own track record... he's a newbie. there's a lot of work to be done and he needs all the help he can get especially that it has been very obvious from the start that he didn't even plan to run for president in the first place. so of course he is unprepared for the responsibility of the whole nation, its welfare and the people. with family and friends he could trust, he is in his comfort zone. let's see where this may lead. how worse can it possibly be when all other options were no better? hehe sorry. lol from someone who is not into politics i overextended to more than 3 lines. hehe

well, i might say, it's too damn early to decide whether he has done it right or if he has make the right decision to chose these people. there's still much more time, probably after nine years of GMA we haven't seen the best of the new President which some people (who didn't vote for him) doubted it.

as the new president, he is under the microscope... all cameras on him... every word, every move will count and be recorded. every decision will be scrutinized. many are waiting for him to make a wrong move. it is not easy to wear the shoes that is worn out by past presidents. especially when people hungry for change and improvement for so long is still waiting for it to happen. again... just an opinion. in the past, i normally stay clear out of discussions about politics. lol

The President, PNoy has been at work for only about three weeks, far away from the traditional 100-day honeymoon period. And almost everyday, appointing personnel that will man his organization is still going on. I don't lean with the side of the President but for me, I would like to see what he has done especially how his cabinet and the personnel he has chosen work, together with him thru to the 100-day period. No matter who he has chosen, it is his prerogative, so I think we have wait for a while.

Hello webzap, i won't see any progress within the 100 day period but i will see some changes differ from the almost ten decade administration. yeah, you're right we should wait. but i see he is doing his job, but poverty is still there. i guess it's a long way to go.

hi letranknight Like us Americans, you Filipinos are not really giving the man a chance yet as its early to make any accusations one way or the other. In our case our new president has been in office longer but old George W Bush in his 8 years managed to' run our country into debt and our economy down the tubes so he has all this to contend with too, I still say give our American president a chance yet. I realize our President has made some mistakes but so did other presidents we had. We just have to be patient for awhile. I usually do not involve myself in political discussions as they can get carried away.

At least the ones being appointed have track records. Can't remember these solons raising a howl when GMA appointed her gardener and manicurist to juicy government positions.
