Actually i find it difficult on participating on discussions here in myLot. It should be a lot easier if a new thread for each language will be introduce.
What do you think?

When I registered I was aware that only English is used here.
I also read what admin said about all that would be involved if other languages were to be used. It would be necessary to have more staff to follow the discussions in all the different languages and this would mean more costs and then? Less to be shared among those who contribute.
No, I am happy with things the way they are

I don't think that is a good idea. If that happen we will not understand some of the discussions. As the saying goes "practice makes perfect", I suggest that you try to practice speaking in English or read English materials, besides mylot doesn't require us to speak in English perfectly. As long as you participate in discussions that's fine. Happy mylotting :)

I don't have a problem with that, but it is against the site rules.

I think it's a good idea, they can do a separate thread for different language. With that, we can bring more discussion and response. Sometimes language is a barrier, there are phrase that we cannot express through English, specially tagalog phrase.

I think that it would be a great idea! myLot could even have specific sections for different languages in addition to the general discussions -- that way people from all over the world could talk with one another. A translation program would be nice too.

I'm all for different languages but for that to happen, some Chinese, Filipino, etc entrepreneurs should step up and set up their own version of a paid-for-posting site and if you want to communicate in a different language, then you can do so. But if people want to participate on mylot, then you accept mylot's rules and setup.

If we are allowed to use other language than English, then there will be many languages here and we can't understand or involved in all discussions. It's discussions in mylot won't be general and not for everyone in the world. Honest, I think it will be easier if we could post discussions here in our language. But, mylot is not for that purpose. The admin won't allow us to use our language. English is must to be used here, no way for other language.

In my opinion, if mylot allows a thread with a language other than english, people will create their own groups according to the language they use, people who do not speak english will not try to learn...
I prefer mylot as it is, discussions using english, it doesn't matter whether we use bad english, or incorrect spelling or grammar.. but I will keep learning, keep improving my english. I found a lot of new vocabulary and knowledge as well as interesting topics of discussion, many things to enrich my knowledge here. Happy mylotting.

I guess mylot really wanted discussions to be universal in nature, that's why they do not allow discussions in other languages. In that way, every topic would be open for all to comment on. It would be good if they will allow us to use our own languages but for now, i get their point. I'll just be happy posting in English until the day they decided to change their rules.

it will be messy ,isn't it . allow chat with other language may make your conmunicate easier ,but it can not improve your english ,isn't it? almost everybody log in this website ,cause it can imprive our conminicate skill with english . waht i want to ask is "what you want to get from this website"

It would be nice to have different section of discussions for different languages. However, it is necessary to have moderators to monitor the discussions in each language. The hard thing is to find good moderators that are fluent in English and in their languages. Also, they might need to have more than one moderators for each language because of the of the amount of posts here in mylot.
