I was assigned to be a part of a research project in my work. I thought I was still part of the project but then I found out that I was not included there anymore. The task were given to someone else and now I am doing nothing. I don't know what to do and I don't know why I was not included anymore. I was never given a notice about it. Suddenly they just won't include me in meetings.

Uh oh brace yourself. Sounds like they may be getting ready to fire you unless they have another project in mind for you. Get proactive and ask about what else you can do! Sorry they just dumped ya off that project, it wasn't fair.

Yeah it feels like he wants me to get out of the company. He even ask me if how long I would be staying since almost all of the employees have resign and I was the only one left in the group!

That's not good at all you better approach your manager why you were suddenly not included in the project. Its unfair to you because you have not been notified of the changes. You better start asking your manager questions

Hi, It's sad hearing about your problem. However I can't help you much since I don't know the cause of your problem in the first place. What I can offer you is words of sympathy, and you should know that at least I am on your side. Working in an office is such a challenging thing and many people tend to climb the career ladder by doing a lot of misfits and bad deeds. Maybe in your case there is someone who is jealous of you and told untrue stories about you to your manager. Maybe your manager is jealous of you, who knows? You are the one who should investigate about this matter. You have to stand up for your own rights. If not, people will continue bullying you easily. I know how it feels like to be left out. People are selfish and if they don't find any benefits working along with you, most probably they will want to get rid of you! So better know why your manager is excluding you from the project. Ask him or her directly. Be bold and fight for your right. Good luck!

I was thinking that he wants to get rid of me because I don't see any problems on why she would exclude me from that project.

Hi Hanagi, It would be best if you talk to your manager about the sudden change your plan and express how surprised because it seems that they miss to inform you. Do you really like this project and in sincere interest to participate? If so, tell your supervisor about that so he would know that you want to be a part of this activity. In any relationship, even at your workplace, communication is very important so make good use of it. I hope that the outcome will be beneficial to you. Cheers and Good luck, Honey
