About a year ago I decided to learn to play a guitar. I went to a guitar store and asked the salesman there for his suggestion on my first guitar. He recommended a classical nylon string guitar because he said it would be easier on my fingers.
After playing around with the guitar for a while I have developed enough calluses on my fingers and I think I am ready for my steel string guitar. Now I am thinking about buying my second guitar.
I would like to ask fellow mylotters who are expert guitarists for some suggestions. Should I go ahead and buy my second guitar or just stick with my classical guitar. I am interested in learning blues which involves a lot of bending on my guitar and my classical guitar is just not suitable for this type of playing.
For my second guitar would you recommend an acoustic steel string guitar or should I go for the electric instead?

I am not sure but I believe acoustic guitar can also be used in blues. But probably electric guitars are easier to bend because the strings are thinner.
