Getting the best romantic getaway has always been so hard to achieve. The internet has an influx of so many suggestions. But what is it really to consider in getting a romantic getaway?

If you have the funds then don't settle for less - go hit Paris, or Rome, or Italy. I heard that people in those places are also very romantic so I guess they know how to please couples who are tourists in their place.
But if you want something that doesn't cost much but you have private time together, there are really wonderful resorts here in the Philippines particularly in our porvince, Bohol that you can choose from.

WoW Bohol ! The Tarsiers and the floating restaurant. Our faculty and staff had their their fieldtrip there 3 years ago. I was impregnating that time that I wasn't able to join them but I heard beautiful stories of your place.
Do you think Bohol had already a tourist influx? I mean, when I want to go out with my family, it's one that will give us a quality time together and not crowd with tourists hungry of relaxing places to see. What do you suggest?
By the way, I'm from Baguio.Come visit our place some time.

There are so many places that are romantic getaways. The Caribbean has such neautiful beaches. Paris is the city of romance. There are several other countries that have romantic spots we dream of visiting. For me, the most romantic getaway would be Hawaii.Beautiful scenery, beaches and history make it the ideal place.

Hi! I suggest that you go someplace where there are lesser tourists so that you and your love one can spend more peaceful time together. You can go to Mongodlong Rock Resort at Camotes. It's a small resort but satisfactorily romantic enough coz there are lesser tourists and the island is just very small, you can tour around it in just one day. Or you may want to go to Palawan, at the El Nido. I haven't been there yet but I heard that it's really spectacular there and the views are really breathtaking! You can also go to Apo Island in Dumaguete. I heard that it's really nice and the beaches are uncorrupted.
On the other hand, if you don't prefer the beach, you can go to mountain resorts such as in Baguio City or Tagaytay. Tagaytay is really romantic coz it's secluded and has great sceneries :) You can also go to Vigan, where you can stroll along historic streets and buildings or ride along a calesa while doing so.
You may also want to go to Paris or Italy. Venice is really romantic :)

Hi Veron. Thanks for the good suggestions. I am from Baguio by the way and indeed, we have a nice place. We plan on visiting Tagaytay next summer if schedules allow. Foreign countries like Paris is among the preferences but not maybe after 5 years.Finances, kapatid!:-)

Well, I think the main thing to keep in mind, is to go somewhere relatively close, so you don't have to waste a lot of time on travelling and getting around. I prefer cities (romantic ones such as Paris or Prague) for these things, but also small cabins in remote areas, such as in the mountains on by a lake should work.

Yah, distance is one to consider...and the budget, too. Have you been to Paris, friend?
