what do you want in a friend ? Do you want them to share your interest , your hobbies , your likes and dislikes or do you want them to be as they are ? - honest , loving loyal or a true friend in need and in deed?

i'd rather have some one that gives respect to me as I give the same respect to them. I don't expect things in return when I do favors for people. But it does help when you need something done if you don't have to ask and they just come out and say do you want me to help you with that. For example: I have let a certain person borrow money at one time and I rarely ask for the money back in return knowing that she needs it to take care of her baby too. This one time I knew she had the money but I had to ask her for it, instead of her offering some of what she owed me. A person should get respect, honesty, trust, dependability, love, caring, kindness, goodness, heartfulness, and other aspects that a good friend should be. I've went to school with kids that aren't kids now, but even my worst "enemy" in school still wouldnt treat like this girl has over the years. it's almost like she was with you because she wanted gossip to turn your world upside down.
