Antyesti,this is the final ritual for the human in Hinduism once the soul lefts the body ,the mortal body should be burn this ritual is called Antyesti other terms are Naramedha or Purusmedha once the body is cremated ,they believe, the body elements are disposed to nature,Prakrti so , as per Hinduism,the body is distributed to earth, water, air, dynamic energy,and space rishi dayaanand , in his book states , the worst form of disposing the human dead body is by burying it ,some what better is throwing the dead body in to the river followed by throwing it in the forest but as per him ,the best form of disposing the dead body is by burning it but , i feel,burning a dead body is barbaric it is the most lunatic act a human can ever do see, i have used the termed "lunatic" because how can any one burn their loved ones in front of their eyes i think this inhumane do you think is their any benefits for the environment by cremating do you think their religion is teaching a barbaric act and hence deceiving its followers or do you think it is correct to burn the dead bodies as far as environment is concern , i think , cremating leads to air pollution which is detrimental to health was it a really win for Hindus in UK pl read this link news.iskcon.org/node/2529/2010-02-11/hindu_wins_right_traditional_cremation_uk
