We, in the Batasan Hills, Quezon City has no water for two days. Prior to this, the Maynilad even did not tell us that they would cut off the supply and so, nobody was able to savc water. That is too much. Then, when i was riding a bus, a part of the city was burning. We saw that it was the residential area at the back of Department of Agriculture in Visayas Avenue. It was sad. We have no water , and yet there was fire.

That was too bad. One thing very disappointing with department like this. They were very much updated when it comes to our bills, but their service is not worth it. Was it too big deal to give us warnings before cutting off the water supply? Granting that was rush and emergency due to some leakage or pipe blow, then,at least they can give you supply via water tanks. Then, there was a fire, wow, that is too much.

That is a very bad situation! Water is important especially when there is fire happening. Also, we have having problems when it comes to water as Angat dam the source of Water in Manila is at it's very low level. I hope it will rain so that there will be an increase in water supply. Each and everyone should conserve especially now. It is difficult living without water, I can't imagine myself not taking a bath when going to office or to the mall.

yeah the situation in our country is really terrible. a funny thing was last week i was eating At mang inasal, i ordered their famous grilled chicken. my friend used his one hand to hold the chicken better to get the meat better than using the fork and Spoon. and after eating of course he was bit dirty on his hands. and so i told him to wash his hanDS first on the sink , there was liquid soap but where's the water. there was no water coming out of the faucent. so he came back to my table and took the glass of water he didN"T finish dRinking then used that to wash his hand. ha ha. but there was a drum of water under the sink. he failed TO see that . but anyways, it was really funny. but the situation we are in is not funny at all.

Hello... I'm from Quezon City but located near NeW Era. We have plenty of water supply here. And I was amazed upon hearing, err, watching the news how other areas suffer from lack of water. It is alarming!Especially for the children... I hope our government can extend help to your area and other areas affected, as well... God bless you, Mimiang....

Water scarcity hit hard at my place also in India. Most of the households in our City Hyderabad depend on borewells. This summer as the ground water table dipped down drastically a large number of bores dried up and revived only after a few showers. We suffered a lot during that period. I can imagine the situation when fires also breakout, being summer, and without access to water!

It's hateful thing to stop water when i was bathing.Government must to shoulder the responsibility to supply water and food to the people where live in the city of quezon.Water is requirement, human exsit in the earth due to water.Government can ship many foods and water to disaster area and the people must to save theirself by duging well to get water.I think you and your country will win the fire and everything is ok for you family!

Yeah that is I think the problem there in Quezon city right now. I was a former resident of QC before and I experience that during those time when in our Barangay we were not having water for so long that it took us weeks before getting water. I have to fall in a long line with a fire hydrant and really wait till wee hours of the night since in the morning we have work. I really felt the hardship of having no water and we have to ration water to be able to last longer. Of course the obvious risks in there is fire since water is lacking then it is really high risks for them to to caught fire. Now that I am a resident of San Juan I barely feel that there is water crisis anymore. For the past two years of my stay in here and there was water crisis in the past. Our place was spared from that problem. This time I heard that Manila Water is also bracing for rotating water distribution because their supplies are also dwindling as well. So I just hope our place would be spared from this again.

that's the case for the last two days here in cavite too. luckily, there's water now today. this would sound funny compared to your story but i know that a lot of people probably felt this way too. i was scared to eat a lot then feel the call of nature. :) it's really uncomfortable when you have to do your business and not have a lot of water around, you know.

Well that is really disappointing but I think the government is doing all the best they can to help every Filipino that are in need of water. Its just that there is a shortage of water due to El nino. Let's just pray that the rainy season would be the answer to your prayers. And may not be an additional problem for us Pinoys.

This is the sad part. When it is summer we have problems with water. When there is typhoon we are overflowing with water and it shows in flood just after a few minutes of rain. I just hope that the government will do everything they can. This has been a perennial problem and no administration has solved this yet.

That was in the news last night. It seems that on the way to delivering water, the fire truck was called to help in a fire that was caused by a candle. They showed long lines of people waiting for water. The crisis is really taking a toll on us. We are lucky that we are being serviced by Manila Water and so we still have water flowing in our faucets. But Manila Water says that if there is still not enough water in Angat Dam in a few weeks we will also have rotating schedules. Now I am praying for heavy rains.

This has always been a problem here in the philippines. I suppose this is because of the heavy rainfall right? If so, then I don't blame Maynilad if they were unable to inform its customers about shutting of the supply of water. Because if the loss of water supply in your area is due to a natural calamity, then they would automatically turn it off as not to damage their equipment prior to announcing it. Maybe the water reservoir there might would have overflowed or something.

Metro Manila encountered a huge water shortage after the storm "basyang". Most of the affected area's are those within Central Luzon and some cities in Metro, Manila. Well, It's not new in our country. This problems occurs many times even in non-rainy days. So let us just be prepared. It happens and we all suffer. So if you don't want to suffer be prepared. ;)

OMG! Yeah, I heard about the news about water shortage. You know I'd rather live in a place where there is no electricity but not with no water. Water is very important, it could kill a person if there is not enough water intake. The fire that you have witnessed really made the matter worst.
