Can you see it in my view? I mean, why people were eager enough to setup reunion when they were more successful? Is it because they want to motivate other or they just want to show up their achievements (boastful)?

I see what you mean. Most probably they want to show off. I personally know some people who take reunion as the perfect opportunity to boast. It'll be just too good to be true if they want to set up a reunion (at the time when they're successful) just to motivate others.
So guess what I'm doing now? I'm actually arranging a small reunion (not for the whole batch--just for my section) just when I am not in my best (and I used to be very successful back in high school). I'm actually doing it to gather my friends (who also happened to be my former classmates) but now I have another purpose. I'll know who the "show-offs" are.. LOL

well, personally our batch havent had a full reunion. no one was eager enough to start one.
but in a way ive seen it as the boast ones achievements.
well a topic aside my mother will have a reunion with the bestfriends she had in highschool which is like 30-35 years ago haha.
