Hello myLotter,
Today i'm trying browse the internet with Opera 10.60. The skin and the menu is different than before. And most different than previous version is the speed. I dont know, at least that's what I felt. So, anyothers use Opera 10.60? Does yours faster too?

Like 10 days ago, as soon as I heard the news about Opera being the fastest browser in the world, I thought I should give it a try. Things I concluded are:
1) It's not the fastest at all, it's just normal like other browsers.
2) Something is wrong with its script thing, like, it gives errors most of the time and the pages don't open properly.
3) AOL's mail page doesn't open properly, so you have to use the basic version for mail.
4) It crashes more often now.
5) Even if you have the updated version, there is a reminder for an update again and again, which is annoying. Why would it want you to update it even when you have the updated version already?
All these things collective make me say that Opera is not the fastest and the coolest browser in the world.

It is strange that you are experiencing problems with Opera 10.6.
1) I use several browsers but tend to stick to Opera because it is definitely fster than Firefox 3.6 abd other browsers. Chrome loads a few sites faster than Opera.
2) I have not been receibing errors, and most pages open properly.
3) I do not use AOL so I cannot comment on that. One of my email accounts is on an obscure site. I face the same situation there but I do not see it as a problem.
4) I have never experienced a crash even though I am using it 24/7. It is Firefox that keeps crashing on me, and if you do a search you will find out that my experience is not unique. Chrome sometimes crash too with a failure to load certain pages.
5) Once updated it has never asked again.
The real problem could be at your end.

I have Opera 10.10 and switched to another browser as Opera is too slow in uploading and freezes the open sites from time to time. I will upgrade my Opera now and try it once again with the hope that speed will be satisfying this time.

I installed the latest version of Firefox, 3.6.7 about five hours ago. At first it appeared to be as fast as Opera 10.6 with only one tab open. With three open tabs it slowed down. There were also pages which were not displayed properly. I am still on Opera.

That is something I've read about Opera is them being faster. Firefox has been very disappointing lately and I gave Opera a try. I can not say that I was impressed. In my experience it is much slower to load anything and freezes too much. I'm looking to create my own browser.

Opera has always been the fastest browser but it is not as successful as firefox because its level of security is not like firefox. So whenever i need to surf the websites i am famalier with i always go for opera, but whenever i search for new websites i always prefer firefox.....
