What are the qualities you look for en a friend?

Hi vmarshall! They say to know a person better, look at the kind of friends he has. I have never thought this makes sense a lot now than I used to while growing up. I certainly do not look for colors, race or religion in the friends I have now. But as I was saying to my sons look for the friendship that would give them the chance to learn, to share and to grow positively as I have in mine.

For me I like the friend who is funny and create jokes .......make me feel relax.I like the friends whom I feel comfortable to share joy,sorrows,thoughts,dreams,success,funny moments,feelings secrets,failure and above all a part of being............But I dislike the the friend who always lie,do not share their feelings ,showing temper and the person who change the mood ......

I like friend who is funny and who used to joke everyday .......and make me laugh, who used to entertain.I dislike who used to tell lie and who cannot understand each other ........... i don't like proud friend and i like simple friend.

we should not except anything from a friend all that we should do is to help him in his needs a real friend would help you when you are in need

well,i like a friend who's fun to be with and knows what he or she wants.i want a friend who is independent outgoing and fun!i hate it when he is envious and not honest.when i learn the first time he lied,i distrust him automatically.

A friend should be very trustworthy and someone you have many things in common with. My best friend and I are so close that we can practically finish each others sentences :)

A good friend may not share every detail of every second of their life, but they do try to be clear about their intentions. This means that they try to present an accurate picture of who they are and of different situations. When something doesn't seem right, they let you know.

In human life we have different angles, how can we choose a friend with aaaaall good qualities. It is decided by the time. Can you gimme a guarantee that we can find a person with all good qulities?

Honesty and unconditional friendship is all I ask for. Everything else like all types of relationships build with time.

I like a friend that is very funny and always tells the truth.A loyal friend is a great friend that will always be there when you need them the most.Qualitites that I dislike in a friend are someone that does no show emotions and have a sence of humour.People that lie cheat and steal are people that are not good people to have a friendship with.its hard to tell at first all the qualities that a potential friend had untill you are with them for a while, after a few weeks of getting to know them you will know what kind of peron they are and their good and bad traits.

Hhmm... I don't have really a specific criteria...:) But since I dislike liars, I want honest friends...:) They don't have to be smart, good looking,rich, famous, funny, etc...:) A true friend who is true to his or her words and to himself or herself is enough for me...:)

For me,the qualities that I want in my friend is she should be loving,caring,loyal,funloving and understanding one.My friend should not be liar and selfish person who thinks for her interest only.

My friend should not be lair and I don't want them to be rich,beauty and famous.They should be honest,punctual and sincere in what they do.
