Yup friend it is better and so many special features are there in Windows7 compare to xp. But rather than telling about the features try once and once you experienced then you come to know about that Windows7

Windows 7 required:
- 01 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64bit processor.
- 01 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 02 GB RAM (64-bit). (I think that should be 2GB or more)
- 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64bit).
- DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver.
Almost Intel Core 2 duo using 64bit instruction set. AND maximum RAM could be support by Win7 Ultimate 64bit is 192GB instead of 32bit is approximate 04 GB only.
I think not to compare window7 with XP, it's just like you are comparing a Brandnew Exotic car with a car in 2001 year.
I'm using windows 7 and it make me feel comfortable :P.

I find it a ton better. I am a computer programmer and simply I find it much better than XP.
1. It has a beautiful User Interface.
2. It runs smoothly.
3. Most applications cannot run on XP anymore, but all XP applications can run on Windows 7.
4. You can search the whole pc in the Start menu.
5. Its better than Vista
