Is there anyone out there like myself, who wake up just not hungry, skipping breakfast witch is suppose to be the most important meal of the day? By lunch time you start to get a little hungry. You fix a little something like a sandwich only to find that after three or for bites your full. You fix dinner for yourself or the family only to find that half way through what you put on your plate, your full and have to save the rest. Then a few hours latter you do nothing but snack for the next two hours. Yet, you are not anemic or are you obsessed. I know it isn't good to have eating habits like this and that you should eat three meals a day. I get lots of migraines which I believe is from not eating right. Anyone out there like this? Can anyone help me figure our how to have better eating habits?

I have this exact same problem. It's so hard to eat sometimes, especially if you're feeling tired or down. It's not good for my health, the way I've been not eating, but I can't seem to fix it.

I think there’s definitely a correlation between depression and not eating. When you’re down, you just can’t be bothered to eat, and that’s been a big part of my problem lately. I also have poor self image, so it’s not like I want to put on weight, but this not eating thing is making me really ill. I’m quite embarrassed about it all.

There is not reason to be embarrassed about it. I know exactly how you feel. I'm the same as you. I get so depressed like I am now and I don't want to eat. My stomach is growling at the moment. I go to look in the frig and say, "Yuck!" I know I am hungry, but food looks awful. Therefore, even though my stomach is growling, I don't eat. I don't eat, I know I what is going to happen to me. I'm going to end up with a really bad migraine and then start throwing up as migraines make me nauseated. Even though I don't want to eat, I have in the past two days just taken out a carrot stick or yogurt and take three or four bites just to keep from getting a migraine. I completely understand where you are coming from. If you it any help to you due to being embarrassed about it all, you can write to me one on one and we can be a sport team to each other. You look like you need a friend. I know I do. Your My Lot Friend, megabiz

I wont consider that a problem if that happens to me. I think that a good thing cause it means that i dont have to eat anything and not eating anything means that I am not going to put on more calories. But this never happened to me, i hope it will but it seems impossible. I have so much liking for food.

I'm glad you have a liking for food. One thing about having a liking for food is to be careful not to eat to much that you end up butting on more weight then you need. Hears to your health.

Hi megabiz, No being hungry is never a problem for me.. I do not skip breakfast. I always have some kind of protein, even if it is a protein shake. I have it even if I have to take it to work with me. You are right that breakfast is the most important meal of the three. It breaks the fast from overnight resting stage. I am happy to hear that you are not anemic, but be careful or other ailments. You know that your body need proper nutrition and by not giving it what it needs to survive, it will evenually cost you your good health. You don't have to eat a large amount of food to have quality meals. BUT!!! you must eat. Maybe, if this loss of appetite continues you should see a nutritionist that can help you with a menu plan. TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY, YOU ONLY GOT THAT ONE.
