"God grant me the serenity to accept things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference."
I really like this prayer. It helps me on my life especially when it comes to my work and the people around me. It reminds me that I do no have to push myself very hard in order to make what I wanted to happen because only the Lord shall be followed. And if I fully accept what He wanted to happen, then there's serenity within and around me. ^_^

Hi Winstonyee!
It is 3am here in my country and I just logged in to mylot. It was so refreshing for me to see this post. It made my day right!
I also love this prayer. I agree with you. This actually keeps our feet firmly on the ground. In this day and age, we tend to forget other things since we are preoccupied with work, and stress amongst other things. It is nice to sit back, relax and just stop what you are doing for a minute to thank the Lord for this day, all the challenges and blessings that he has bestowed on us and the courage to strive to be better Christians.
