Hi Everyone,
I need your help in deciding which web browser is best to use on my computer. Please tell me which one you are using and why you think it is the best or even if you think I should use it.
Right now I am using Internet Explorer 8, it seems to be very sensitive to some of the searches and context I am dealing with. Sometimes I am writing or trying to open a page and, poof! it gone. I plan to start an online class and I would hate to be in the middle of a test and everything goes poof!
Firefox, is the browser used in the computer lab at the school I work at and wherer the student come to use them. I have been seen something on my computer asking me to download Chrome. I don't know much about it.
So, if there are any computer geeks/pros in the audience, please give me a shout out. Okay.
Thanks in advance

well the lowest one that would consume your resources. And that would be chrome.
well much much simpler than ie and by this it loads faster too.

Hi oOjopakOo,
You and I both have got used to a certain browser, but I am ready for a change. A change that is going to make my life better, when it comes to a fast system anyway.

Hi suggar,
Thanks for the information. I need to know about all of my options. I had completely forgotten about Safari, which is another browser my school computer lab uses. I glad it is working out for you.

Thanks Angel :)
I know that Safari is not so popular and it's Apple product. I love Apple products, especially musical items :P
My bf says that it's the most light browser he has ever seen. Before that i had problems with Firefox. I know it's not because of the Fire it's because my notebook is not so good to work with weight programs, so Safari is great for me.
Wish u luck in finding the right browser for your computer :)

Hi Suggar,
I complete forgot that Safari is with the apple product. That is what we use at the school's computer lab, all Macs. I guess I have had a long summer,my brains are going to mush.

I ALWAYS use firefox! I think it is the best most stable browser...but my daughter swears by Opera...she says its faster...I still think firefox is more secure!I dont thik it really matters that much as long as you DONT use Internet Explorer!!! That one is very unstable!!

Hi pixeltwistr,
I have only used firefox at work and I know that it is very good. I had never heard of Opera until I posed this question a few nights ago. I realllly have a big decision to make. But, you know what? I think anything new will probably be better than internet explorer.

I used Chrome, its a different technology from Internet explorer. They both built an open source code from other platforms. Chrome browser is based on the open-source Web kit engine. Firefox is based on the open source Gecko engine, which is a layout engine currently developed by Mozilla Corporation.

Hi CTHanum,
Gosh! I don't know how anyone is using internet explorer. All the people that have responded to my question, not one has recommended using it. And, no one has it themselves as a browser. What good is it then. Am I the last to know that I should be using a fast browser? I need to get myself into a computer class.

Hi akhterg,
I do remember having this one on my computer before, but it seems, if I can remember correct that I had a lot of trouble with things not being accepted or blocked, which was very frustrating. Is this the same one that other here are talking about Fire Fox or is this Mozila Fire Fox. I know mozila is the one with the red head, yes?
Thank You
