"Elodia"(1999), an opinion?

Lacrimosa was founded in 1990 in Switzerland, the originally genre was darkwave, or a gothic with metal elements. After a time, they turn to be a gothic metal band, with sounds like violin or classic instruments. Lacrimosa`s lyrics are mostley in german. Their lyrics are about love, sadness, despair, darkness. Their first demo was released in 1991. My favorite album was Elodia (1999), with lyrics in german, with 8 songs, and 2 bonus. People say that is the best album ever been recorded by them, i also like very much Lichtgestalt, but my favorite remains "Elodia"

Lacrimosa is one of the most representative bands of the genre. They combine great the goth parts with darkwave and original gothic. They introduced so many influences and the genre and thats why they have millions of fans everywhere in the worlds, because they are an original band and influenced so many bands.
Yes, the best album of theirs is Elodia by far. Enjoy!
