therian and otherkin

ok for starters a therian is someone who belives they have an animal side to them and an otherkin belives that they have a mythical part to them.
ok I'm still new to all of this but i have always been what i am, and i have just resonantly found out the name for it. for all of you that are reading this i am both therian and otherkin out of that i know its uncommon to find someone that is both but its not impossible. I'm a calico therian and an angle otherkin. but I'm also a wiccan. and for that I'm an outcast even among most of the therian and otherkin communities. OK so now i know a lot of you will be commenting stuff like you can't be part cat or you cant be an angel...but you know there is more to being human then meets the eye everyone has looked in the mirror and asked what more is there to who i am. everyone out there has something more hidden in themselves. call me crazy if you want I'm use to it. but this is what i want to know have you ever stopped and looked in your self to find something that you embraced and then hide away again? everyone seems to tell me I'm not anything like an otherkin or a therian I'm just lieing to get attention(which isn't true at all) but tell me have you ever saw an animal or mythical being in you? i want to know.

By your definition, I am a therian bear. It is difficult because according to some definitions, I would not be. I do not have an otherkin side that I know of, but I'm still evolving so to speak. So I may discover more to me.

Im honestly surprised this discussion doesn't have any replies. It seems lately there has been a vast increase in the numbers of people claiming to be therian and/or otherkin. I have found, however, that most of them are into roleplaying or are just trying to find a group to fit into. This is unfortunate for the real Therians and Otherkin out there who are just trying to live their lives and come to terms with who and what they are, as well as seeking themselves in the mix.
I have several friends in the Therian and otherkin communities, so I have seen firsthand the levels of prejudice and suffering they go through on a daily basis. Its a lonely path for many people.
In the end, nobody can tell you who or what you are, except for you yourself.
