What is the significance of having many friends in myLot?

It has a value all its own. :-)
But you are more likely to get visits to your discussions from your friends than from people who aren't. And that does affect your earnings if you reply back to them.

hi there! as far as i know it doesn't affect our earnings if we have many friends or not. but if you have many friends when you make a discussion you will notify many members about your discussion too. and there will be a large possibility that your discussion will get many responses. that i think affects our earnings. besides, it doesn't harm having many friends though. so i just add them all. it's like socializing too. haha. happy mylotting!

I think having lots of friends keeps you connected with mylot.You have more friends so you get more responses to which you again reply and then they too reply, so your participation becomes visible on mylot. This way you are socializing as well as earnings more.But I think once you get good friends and you start enjoying exchanging view with them , you don't pay much attention to earnings.

Having many friends is not affected our earning. For me, friends are a who willing to share with me. If I start discussion about my problem, they will respond to my discussions. In addition, I will respond to their discussions too. I turn on friends notifier so whenever they start discussion, an email will send to my email. Furthermore, mylot is one of social site so we can communicate with others here. If we don't have friends here it's mean we just communicate with stranger
