Is india going to hold no.1 spot.....??

In the ongoing series against srilanka india is following on the huge total made by srilanka.If india loose this match they are going to loose the no.1 spot.Will this happen or is there any chance that India can bounce back in the match and play for their pride....

At this moment it might not be the no. 1 position that would be going through their minds. It would be more survival to save this test match that would be paramount in their minds. I think this has been a self inflicted wound for India, the way Sehwag, Laxman and Bhajji literally threw their wickets away. Murali showed his genius in picking up 5 wickets in an innings again. At this rate he will get to 800!!

According to ESPN even if India loses from 1-0 or 2-1 , that is by saving both upcoming test matches , they will lose points but still retain there no 1 spot.But India will do better in that if they can improve bowling department and avoid irresponsible shots which Sehwag played in first match.
