I just joined mylot today. One of my friend reffered me to this wonderful site called mylot. I was wondering if fellow my lotters could help me to understand the sites and please add me as your friend.

Welcome to mylot chera_mn, first I would say that whoever referred you here in mylot should be the one to help you out how does mylot work. I would suggest you to first read the http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx so you would know what are do's and don'ts here in mylot. Mylot is a good place to earn and yet to learn something new about different things, you'll going to have lot of friends from all over around the world. The best thing about mylot is you can ask any question base on your interest and start you own discussion at the same time you are earning. Also take your time reading the TOS and FAQ of mylot, it will help you understand mylot.com in that way. It will also help your stay in mylot. Hope it helps and Enjoy your stay in mylot:)
