Could it be that the new Twilight movie is watchable?

I just found out it's directed by David Slade, the guy who made great vampire movie called 30 Days of Night. It was the only movie in which vampires were actually scary. At least in the first half of the film. He also directed Hard Candy, which was also great. So I'm really curious how he handles the Twilight.

Hello bionicman, well im not a fan of twilight. I just saw the second movie. It was better than the first one. I dont know if i will watch eclipse. 30 Days of night was a really scary movie that i saw. Your saying truth about that twilight vampires are not scary. But if you watch 30 days of night.... Cheers and happy myLotting !

30 days and night is really scary but what I really like the most is the drama where in love takes sacrifices.

I liked the first Twilight better than second. Mainly because it's shorter.
I was talking about movie vampires in general, not just Twilight.

well i dont know as i haven't watched any of them but my 17 year old daughter hated twilight completely and then a couple weeks ago her cousins invited her to go see it....she went just so she could hang out with her cousins and now she is a huge fan and she is even reading the entire set of books too...lol...so it must be pretty good!

It's the chick thing.
I've seen the first two and I still hate it.

Personally, I love Twilight. Love the books, and I like the movies. I think Eclipse is the best of the three films just because it's a better adaptation of the book and whatever they did change helped to fit the story into the movie format. But I'm a fairly young woman so I'm the story's target audience.
If you never liked Twilight to begin with, then changing the director is probably not going to make much of a difference for you.
