I was very unfortunate today, i was bitten with my own cat which i didn't expect to happened. I knew it was my fault, but since this is the first time that i was bitten by an animal, i can't help it to get panic and got a little bit nervous of this incident. so, i went to the health center and seek some medical treatment for my bites. How about you? have you tried to be bitten with an animals?

I have been bitten by a lot of animals, but I've never gone to get medical attention for it. I still have a scab from when my dog bit me a couple of weeks ago while trying to kill the new puppy. I also used to own hamsters, and the suckers get very bitey. I've never been bitten by a cat though. A little scratched, but never bitten. I am kinda scared of their needle-teeth!

I have had cats for many years and have been bitten on occasion. Mostly I have been scratched. Usually a cat will not bit unless you are holding them too tight or in a wrong way or they want to get loose. A good indicator that they want to be set free is when their tail starts to twitch and there is no purring going on. Most cats do not like to be held a lot. Also, if you are playing with them, they sometimes forget that we are human. An oven mitt comes in handy for that. I usually play with a cat toy or something so that the cat does not think that my hand, etc. is a play toy. I hope you heal well.

I haven't TRIED to be bitten, but I have been bitten. In fact, I was perforated by my cat, Mitten... I can't find the discussion I posted about getting bit, but here's one about when animal control came and took her away http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1437309.aspx
