Hello mylotters! I read an article on BBC news website and found something interesting to share. Recently a company (Brothers Company), invented batteries which rechargeable by vibration. It can produce 3.2V of electricity which enough to power a TV remote control. The technology still new but it's potential to be develop for other kind of use in the future. Sounds like the same thing as they use for flashlights that can be recharged by shaking. The technology is old, one of the first concepts of creating electricity. It works on the same principle as generators. I have a wind up flashlight and a shake to charge flashlight as well as a wind up radio. They all work fine. I don't know why we're still using disposable batteries anyway.

well i also have those kind of flashlights but the bad thing about those things is they tend to lose power when stored and youll have to shake it for a couple of mins for less than what you shake it like a 2:1.5 ratio. And when you used it frequently the capacity to store a charge diminishes faster than a normal battery. its really simple technology if you think about it but if they reinvented it somehow then it would be really useful.

well its really not a new technology but a lot useful.
