My daughter has just made this cake for her friend's daughter who has just graduated from university. It is a two tier cake and I think that it is one of the most unusual cakes that I have seen. What is the most unusual cake that you have ever seen?

Hi oldchem. WOW! That's all I can say... WOW! Your daughter has incredible talent! I checked out that link to her other cakes and they're all amazing, simply amazing! I used to make cakes for family and friends. I've done two 3-tiered cakes before, one where each layer was directly on top of the others and one using plastic pedestals to hold up the top two layers. I loved being able to create that way. Sadly, life, time and lack of energy have stopped my cake-decorating days. I was never even close to being as good as your daughter! I am highly impressed! I wish I lived in the UK now so I could order a cake from her! I'd make up a reason for ordering one, too, if I had no real celebration.

Yes I am very proud of her, I used to make them and then 15 years ago I handed all my equipment over to her and she has done really well. She's having a well deserved rest for a week and is off to Disneyland PAris with her four girls next week!!

This is so creative and beautiful. Everything is edible on that cake? If so, she belongs on that cable show all about cakes. It has to do with a cake contest and you can win alot of money. I can't think of the name. However, your daughter must know about that show. That is the only place that I have ever seen unusual cakes. One was a house burning and a fire truck on the side of the house. It was so unbelievable and creative. Your daughter has a great talent.
