What is the latest version/update for Firefox?

I got a first popup to update for Firefox 3.6.5, I believe. Googling, I see a beta for FF4.0. If I don't want to update to 4.0 yet, what is the latest version before 4.0?

The latest stabel is 3.6.7 and the beta release is 4 beta. i use them both at the momment as most of the plugins still are not updated to work with the beta verstion. well if you don't use any plugins as you browse then the beta is great and really fast. You should check it out.

if you just want to browse try the beta version, if you want all your plugins to work then stay with the stable version.

The latest update is 3.6.7. The FF4 beta works perfectly so you could just update anyways.

Thank you for the answer. I just wanted a consensus before I updated anything. Last time I uploaded from a pop-up, I lost my browser. It was a fake firefox update. (Now that I'm over 500 comments, I'm trying out the cutting and pasting.)
