ranking up fast in modern warfare 2?

currently i'm 3rd prestige level 55 and i have played for around 11 days. Is there any way to rank up fast from where I am? If it helps, my k/d ratio is .82 (brought it up .11 from like a month ago), and I primarily use the ACR when I'm more running and gunning and I use the Intervention with thermal scope or FMJ. And I don't play with friends because my friend doesn't have Modern Warfare 2. So with that being said is there a way where I can rank up faster in Modern Warfare 2?

For some background, I am a 10th prestige 70 in MW2 and a 10th prestige 55 in Cod4. I have found that the best way to rank up is search an destroy. Search and destroy can be excellent xp depending on your skill. If you can average about 5-8 kills in each game of search and destroy, it can be excellend xp. If you cannot, i would recommend domination, headquaters and demolition.
