Hi, I haven't been a victim of online scams, but have you? What's your story? I think this would definitely help others to know what to look out for so we can all prevent online scams. So what's your story? Please tell.

Oh I have been a victim of this. Earlier of knowing about internet I saw these internet online jobs. I believed all those and i invested so much of money in it.After a long time i came to know that these are scam. I lost not only money but also so much of time which cannot be back. I didn't bother about money, but am worried about time. i would like to help others to not invest in these scams. But, still i can't understand that so many are getting victims in these, still why governments of all countries are not having an eye on these? Mostly online jobs are scams. So, I took a decision to help other people not getting into these scams.

I am too never been a victim of this "scam" but i had an experienced and many times they tried to scam me. From the job they offer until the chat like they are trying to looked for serious relationship. They pretend that they are looking for relationship. So they begin to chat with you or using letters only. They proposed and trying to tell all the love notes or letter. Time goes by they will asking for your address 'cause they will sending you the package or a gift for your birthday. And telling that he was an Engr. or Architect or acted like they are professional.
They will tell you always that they are offshore for work. So time goes by they will tell you and sending you letter that they sent already the package and this package will 2-3days travel going to your country. He will also giving you the tracker# with realistic site they've made. So it is really believable to our eyes. Then you will only know that this is the scam when your package arrived in your country. All of them "concern scammers" are calling to your attention to pay your tax bill at the custom because it was hold by them. And once you paid already the tax they will deliver to you the package within 24hours. So they will tell you to send your payment to the name of the person through Western Union... As you cannot noticed easily the "hocus focus" behind. All you can see is the content of the package which really bigger than the tax you will pay. It consists also the money inside. But all of this are scam. And when you asked the person you are chatting, he will also telling you to pay first the tax and telling you also to borrow money first to get the package. When you think it all over and over again it looks realistic. But the truth is it is a real scam. So please think first before you send money for people you don't really know and see. Be careful.

I never thought how online dating could become a scam, but now a days you'll never know what can really happen. So thank you for this, you informed me of something i never thought about. I don't have any experience from online scam, but real life scam I have experienced lately. It is from my friend too. So, don't trust anyone. You better protect yourself from every step. Not to let anyone to hurt you.
