Well, yes I am, but am I weird because I don't like sharing the shower? Seriously, I like my nice hot shower. I don't like having to get out of the stream because somebody else needs to rinse off. Take your own darn shower when I get out. Am I weird?

The other person got the shower upstairs and I got the shower downstairs.
But talk about delusional, he really thought when I went to take a shower this morning that I wanted to take one with him. After everything.... (shakes head)

Still in denial. Am sorry but I had a mental image of you in the shower and R soaping up at a face basin and wanting you to get out. I did not know that he wanted to join you

You are trying to get him to move out and he is jumping in the shower with you, eh? He is desperate to keep you. Thinks he can entice you with his body and you will reconcile and all will be 'back to normal' in his world.

Yep, delusional. I would use the shower with a locked door from now on, too, if I were you. He has no fear of YOU walking in on him in the shower or trying to join him. That is the problem, in his little mind. He wants you back and he will do anything he can think of, no matter how stupid, to do so. Poor man. I almost feel sorry for him and his delusions.....NOT!!

I do feel sorry for him, but that doesn't change anything.

And his body's such an enticement.
NOT..
He's delusional. I didn't like sharing the shower when things were OK. I don't even like him being in the room when I take one. Which is why I'll be taking mine downstairs from now on.

The master bedroom in my house has no door between it and the bathroom, however there is a door where the toilet is. So the sinks, shower and tub are open, and you have to lock the entire bedroom to have privacy.

Not really. people might not like to share stuff in the household. Like my aunt, she loves to be cleaned. So, if someone go to her house, she would demand people to take off their shoes, or use paper cup for water drinking.

Hopefully she doesn't make them bring their own paper cups!

Hi Dawn,
It is not weird that you don't like sharing the shower with someone else. Some people do and others just don't. Either way is fine. There are times when it can be fun but I'd have to say, I would not want to do it on a regular basis. Also, you use way more water when you take the shower together, I think. I take quick hot showers but the times when I've shared I have to say they have been way longer!

Well, I'm not sure but I think so. If you are by yourself you tend to get in,soap up and shampoo, rinse and maybe even shave legs and pits. I can do all that in 10 mins. With someone else, you do all that and play also so I'd say that it would have to take longer all around.

Longer than one, sure, but longer than two separate showers?

Now if we had more money and had one of those fancy bathrooms 4x the size of what we have now and could sport a shower head on both sides of a larger stall then fine... but I'd only be sharing that w/ hubby of course ;0) We used to shower togeather when we lived in our apartment but in our house we can't... partly because the kids are always into something.

This discussion made me think of the shower experience I had last night. We have to bathrooms upstairs, and I guess just one main water line for both. I was taking a shower, and I guess my son started to take his on the other bathroom. So instead of having a strong continuous stream of water, mine turned into just about trickle! I hate it when that happens. In this particular instance, I hate sharing the shower!

Yeah nothing like having two showers going at once, or with the dishwasher, the washing machine, etc. Brrr...

Heck yeah, you're weird! LOL But then again so am I and everyone else that's on this planet. One of my favorite quotes of all time happens to be "everybody is somebody else's weirdo." It's so true, it's kinda scary! LOL
Oh wait, that's not what you were talking about, now was it? LOL Good thing I didn't just go by the title alone, or else my response wouldn't have made any sense at all. Or would it? To answer your real question, nah, you're not weird. Shoot, I don't like sharing the shower either. But then again, I don't like sharing it because the shower stall is so darn small. If it was bigger, I'd be more than happy to share it with my husband. It can be a lot more fun that way, after all!
Happy mylotting!

I like that expression. It reminds me of:

I have to say that I enjoy taking a long hot shower. However, I also like having some fun with my wife in the shower as well if you know what I mean LOL

Hi, dawnald. You are in no way at all weird. I don't like sharing my shower with anyone either. If my husband joins me, for a romantic encounter, then that is fine with me. Other than that, I want to wash alone with no one in the same shower stall with me. I can't see how prisoners wash in the same shower stall. I need my privacy when I wash off. So, don't think that you are weird, because you are not.
