In - Marouane Chamakh (Bordeaux, free), Laurent Koscielny, (Lorient, £8.5m), Kyle Ebecilio (Feyenoord, free), Phil Roberts (Norwich City, free)
Out - Luke Ayling (Yeovil Town, free), Fran Merida (Atlético Madrid, free), Philippe Senderos (Fulham, free), Alie Sesay (Leicester City, free), Francis Coquelin (Lorient, season-long loan), Luke Freeman (Yeovil Town, six-month loan), Sam Byles (released), James Dunn (released), William Gallas (released), Rhema Obed (released), Mikaël Silvestre (released), Sol Campbell (released)
I think of those coming in Chamakh is the one that I am looking forward to see if he can bang in the goals for Arsenal. Of those who are going out, I am actually relieved to finally see the back of Gallas!! The one missing aspect in all that is a goalkeeper and that is still very high on Arsene Wenger's agenda as he is trying to woo Mark Schwarzer to the Emirates!!
Your comments on Arsenal's transfer movements so far?
Cheers!

Since this was posted Eduardo has left Arsenal as well and i would not be surprised to see Fabregas leave and go to Barcelona. I think that Arsenal will do well to stay in the top 4 in this coming season as they do not seem to be able to attract the top players.

I think Fabregas will stay on for one more year as Barca are a little pressed to meet Arsenal's demands this season after going full steam for Villa. But yes Eduardo is out, but I think Chamakh will more than make up for him. I would be surprised if Vela also makes his way out shortly.
Cheers!

I too believe Fabregas will stay for another season, at least. They are able to attract top players and Wenger is the "main attraction". But the stumbling block to signing the them, Wenger and the board is unwilling to splash big money for them.

Ebecilio and Roberts are young starlets so I presume we will be seeing much of them for the next two years at least. I think Wenger got to serious focus on the goalkeeper and defence department. Lets be honest, Almunia and Fabianski does not have it to be the number 1 choice at a top club. In the defence, you have 3 senior players leaving, Silvestre, Gallas and Senderos. Another, Campbell has yet to sign an extension. That leave the club with only Vermaelen, Koscielny and Djourou. They will need more than that to meet the demands of the season.

You missed out on Clichy at the back. He will be around and I think Wenger might have one or two youngster up his sleeve, but still he will be looking for at least one more player, I think he will convince Campbell to sign for one more year. Goalkeeping is really the biggest woe for Arsenal and I hope Schwarzer signs for Arsenal.
Cheers!
