Alan Wake

I was waiting for this game since it was announced for PC and it looks really great. But then just before the release they dropped the PC version for some reason and made it for xbox only. I don't want to buy a dying console to play just one game and none of my friends have xbox:(
But I really want to play the game...
Have you played it? How did you like it?

I don't have it, but I think it's pretty good. I got Splinter Cell Conviction though. It's much better. Alan Wake only got a 9.0 rating while Splinter Cell got 9.3. Trust me with Splinter Cell, you would never get bored. And I know you probably don't want to hear this, but you should buy an Xbox 360. It's not a dying console. Xbox has the most users. It beats out the PS3 and Wii. Plus, you can probably buy a used one now for $100. I bought mine for $150 at Wal-Mart about a couple of weeks ago. And that was my second Xbox! Believe me, if you get an Xbox 360 you won't be sorry.

xbox just hit it's peak and it will only go down from now on. It can't keep up with PS3 in terms of power and there are no exciting new games coming out for it soon.
There's not a single xbox game I'm interested in besides Alan Wake. Sorry, not a Halo fan. And all the other great games it has, I would prefer to play them on PC or even PS3 instead.
I'm sure the new Splinter Cell is great (haven't played Splinter Cell since Pandora Tomorrow) but I wouldn't compare it to Alan Wake since they are so different.
I guess I'll try to get my hands on some cheap used xbox. Maybe get one from lockerz lol
