Is the idea of a movie totally dead?

They were talking about a movies for awhile after the series ended. Is that just not going to happen? I guess all the stars are really scattered now, although Willow(Alyson Hannigan) is the only one that I can think of that has a regular job with How I Met Your Mother.

I seriously doubt you'll get a Buffy movie. I haven't really kept up with what the other actors are doing. I remember seeing the Xander dude on Criminal Minds in a recurring role, but other than a few guest spots for James Marsters, that is all I know of what they have been doing. Well, I guess Michelle Trachtenberg was in Mercy this past year, but I never really liked her character anyway.

I think movies will stay.
The main thing to settle is how to market them effectively in this digital age and not to fall on the hands of pirates.
they should consider releasing the movies in the net as well but of course with the projection of earnings just like releasing it on theaters.

I think a movie would be a great idea! But if ever that happens, I'm not sure that they're going to use all of the original casts.

Buffy has got to be my favorite tv show of all time. I was really hopeful of them doing a movie. But I read somewhere that James Marsters said that if they didn't do a movie already they probably wont do one because him personally wouldn't look like a non aging vampire. But you never know. Heres hoping we will one day have the whole cast back together if not for a movie a reunion special.
