For me it would be the crab mentality, mosquitoes, the urban poor, polluted waters, smoke belching vehicles, stray dogs and cats, bribe vulnerable cops, corrupt people, littering habit of many, traffic, garbage disposal, lack middle class, so many gay people not that I'm against it but there is just too many of them.

Well almost all..., you hate here in my country. How sad that our country has this most bad components especially all you pointed out. But to tell you not all here are bad, we have also good things here like beautiful tourist spots. Anyway you are asking what you do not like here. As a citizen of my native land I only hate here is the "corruptions" mostly of the officials in our government. That is why those you are hated most are present. If they are not corrupt officers and not thinking of themselves only for the good of their own, I can surely tell you that you cannot see those you hated mos. I assure you the cleanliness of my native land. Because they officials will not allow anybody to bad things around them. Everything is in order.

The thing which bothered me the most when I visited that country is the fact that the well-to-do treat the not-so-well-to-do as inferiors. I remember when visiting a relative, she constantly yelled at her servants and insulted them. In another occassion, when we were visiting a site where construction was going on, one guy, who I assumed was either the owner or the boss, was also verbally abusive towards one of the laborers, who was an old man. I felt sorry for him. That's why I don't think I could ever live there anymore after staying in the US for almost 30 years. I couldn't bring myself to behave the same way and be abusive towards people in that way simply because they don't have the same social or economic status as I do. Here in the US, I try to treat everyone with the dignity and respect they deserve even if they are blue collar workers or poor.

actually those things you mentioned can also be found in other country nor perhaps more worst than here in the philippines if we are not aware of those its because we didnt live in that country to know whats going on there unlike here in the philippines that we have news everywhere for us to know every details of whats going on here. For me i understand those act though i know its not tolerable but we cant avoid it same as other country have. specially about gays, did you know that other country permit gays to get married and you can see them on public kissing each other than here.
Just one thing i hate about philippines is being narrow minded and being lazy.

There are still lots of things to hate about the Philippines even though I really love my country. Your list above are very visible here in our country so I agree to that (but not to the gay thing, it's ok for me if there are lots of gays...) Above all those, I hate Filipinos who are not disciplined and who stays ignorant. Those are two of the many reasons why the Philippines don't progress.

speaking of crab mentality, people is trying to push you down, they do not want to see you on top, and people on top is never been contented. the manana habit.. the nepotism workers in the government. we are rich in natural resources but where are the resources..we are still suffering of the scarcity of water and electricity..that's how i don't like philippines.

I don't mind gays and lesbians. what i hate is people's lack of discipline, that's why corruption is rampant, most specially government officials. there are so many poor and hunger is increasing not just due over population but also lack of education and job opportunities.

About the Philippines itself, it's the POLLUTION in the city and some provinces. Especially AIR pollution because there is no way you can avoid it. This country is too beautiful to pollute. The beaches, mountains and forests. Let's just hope we can preserve those that are remaining beautiful.
I hate everything you said too. Especially the dogs. I hate those!!
