Do you prefer big or small dogs and why?

I'm an all dog lover especially puppies. I own a black german shepherd and my daughter has a sheltie. They are so funny to watch play. My shepherd is named Noel, and she is 6yrs old. Our sheltie is Alexi and she is less than a year. They play like sisters and fight like ones too. But not enough to draw blood. The people that live around us respect Noel and will stay away from her. Alexi they come right up to and learn to respect her. Small dogs are yappy when they bark and can be just as dangerous as a large dog. Large dogs have stay away barks and can be as a gentle as a small dog. Remember a dog that growls and shows their teeth are more apt to bite.

I like big working dogs as you can tell in my pic. They want to be lap dogs to. Any pet is fine to me

i prefer cute and small cuddly pet dogs. i am not the outdoor type of person so i guess i am not the best owner of huge training dogs that needs to be out in the field running and playing frisbee all the time! :D

I love big dogs! They are awesome! I love them cause they're cool and huggable and just plain wonderful! If I could have a bid dog, I would so get one right now! Small dogs are alright but I usually don't like them because of all my experience with small dogs, they are kind of yappy and have high squeaky barks which hurt my ears.

I like dogs better small dogs that they look beautiful,cute like our good friends.You can make friends with them and you can gain a lot of pleasure when along with this dogs.But i think everybody don't like dirty dogs because their host care litter.So if you like pegs,like dogs,pls breed them fine and take care of them like a friends.

well dont really care if they are small or a big one. it just depends on the characteristic of the dog. if had a big one before and now i had small ones. When i was a kid i used to jump on the back of the dog and used it like a horse haha. Well that dog was massive.

I love both,because I own one of each.There's positives about both.I have a Shih Tzu and a black German Shepherd.I can't choose which I like better.They're both lovable great dogs to me.

I like both, since I am a huge dog lover, but I have a slight preference to big dogs I guess. I would love to have a Great Dane!

I prefer medium to large dogs, not less than 50 pounds. Small dogs have never interested me at all. I like my dogs almost anti-social to outsiders, so they're great protectors, but still want them to feel like babies of the family. I also prefer long-haired dogs. For whatever reason, they just seem softer and more cuddly than a short-haired dog.

i prefer small dogs..just beacuse they are huggable. haha

I prefer big dogs over small dogs. They can be more protective, if not at least intimidating to a stranger. I swore I would never own a little dog because I never really cared for them, but last summer my sister gave me a puppy and she said it was a pit bull mixed with bull terrier. Not sure where anyone got an idea that that is what he is but turns out he is some kind of rat terrier mixed with something. hes only 20 lbs! I couldn't believe it. But because I raised him from a puppy I love him, but I will always chose a big dog over a little dog.

I like big dogs. :D They are warmer and make great body pillows.

I like medium sized dogs, but between big or small i would rather a big dog, but i would like to raise my dog from newborn baby when he is cute and small to an adult old dog

I prefer big dogs over small dogs.I feel they can guard better than the smaller ones.I do like smaller dogs but prefer the bigger ones.I share your liking for a pug.

I prefer having big dogs. I just find big dogs much cuter than the small ones. Big dogs are more cuddly than the small ones. But if someone's gonna give me a small dog that'll be cool. *wink*

Hi Annamol, I prefer to use small dogs comparing big dogs.Since small dogs will be handy to use.We can maintain them easily.It is difficult to take care about big dogs at some critical situation.You can not lift the big dogs. So i like small dogs only. Cheers, Sakthi

I like small dogs because they are really cute and are easy to take care of. I have 2 terriers and 2 brand new baby puppies. They are easy to give baths and don't take much to feed them.
