Do You Think Dirk Nowitzki Made A Mistake By Staying With the Mavericks?

I wouldn't say it was a mistake but I do think he would of been better off going to another team. Personally I would of like to see him go to the Bulls to play along side Derrick Rose and Carlos Boozer. It would of also been cool to see Dirk Nowitzki go to the Magic to team up with Dwight Howard. I didn't expect him to stay in Dallas.

That's admirable how Dirk Nowitzki signed and stayed with the Mavericks which is his only team he played for in the NBA yet. I was a fan of his back when he played with Steve Nash but that was years ago. Playoff series loss after loss.. I really believe now that Dirk Nowitzki won't ever get an NBA Championship with the Mavs . Was a Dirk fan, now a doubter. But I hope I'm wrong.

Dirk is one of the few loyal players in the NBA and Mark Cuban has been a loyal owner to Dirk. They may not get a championship together but it is not due to a lack of trying. I'm among the many folks who believe that Dallas is a regular season giant but playoff midget. The talent has always has been strong but something has been missing. I'm not sure what is missing though.

It is my dream to see him play with Nash again and I wish that would have happened. I don't necessarily think it was a mistake for him to stay with the Mavs though. He could definitely be better off on other teams, but oh well.

Oh I agree that the Suns aren't going to be doing as well, I just have a major soft spot for seeing my two favorite players play together :P

hi elmiko Yes I agree he would be better off going to the Bulls
or even the Lakers. lol If I remember right the Mavericks never
do make a big splash like the Celtics or the Lakers. I have watched
games in other years where the Mavs lost as many or more than they
won.

i remember that upset in the first round of the playoffs years back when the mavericks had the best record in the nba going into the playoffs and they lost to the warriors. i think the nba had switched the first round into a 7 game series already when that happened. i guess it didn't help having their former coach don nelson coaching the warriors at the time. hes probably the main reason the warriors upset the mavericks.
