What do you do when you can't convince a person to join you on mylot?

It's harder than it seems! I mean, why can't I convince them? They have everything to gain when they join here. Maybe they think it's a scam. How can I prove it's not a scam? How can I convince them?

There is nothing you can do if you can't convince a friend to join as your referral. Until now, I saw that if I told my friends about the referral policy here, on Mylot, they would think that they have to work for me. From now on, I'll try not to tell them about that, and to stress only their possibility to earn for themselves. I can hardly wait to get my first pay, to proove them this is legit. Maybe then they will beleive me and they will join Mylot.

I'm only $3.82 right now. It'll take another month before i have $10. But it's worth the wait because I enjoy what I'm doing here. But if you don't tell them the referral policy, they would think "what's the catch?"

I'm pretty far of my first pay, too. :) You know, when I joined Mylot, I didn't know about their refferal policy. I liked the ideea of being payd for what we do here, and here I am! I hope that I can convince my friends by telling them about all the ways they can earn on Mylot, and when they find about the refferal policy, they'll be more interested to be on Mylot.

How are you selling MyLot and are you targeting the right market? There are still many people who do not think of the Internet as an earning opportunity or, if they do, they do not feel that it is for them. I have known many people on Yahoo Answers, for example, who were perfectly happy earning points there but when it was suggested that they could do the same thing and earn real money they were simply not interested. There are also, really, only a few people who are literate enough or, rather, feel the need for expression, to want to engage in a site like this. MyLot has, it says, 210,000 members but not even 10% of those are active (it is closer to 1%, I believe) and 90% of those members maybe gave it a try, decided it wasn't for them and left long ago. There will be many people that you can never persuade to join, a few who will join but will not find it their kind of thing and a tiny proportion who will become excellent 'MyLotters'. There isn't really a lot you can do about that except sing the praises of MyLot to as wide an audience as possible. As the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

I think it is not easy to convince a person to join here. I have four referrals but none of them are active. I can't hardly find someone I know who will be interested in Mylot. If you just want to convince people that Mylot is not a scam. Then at first you have to show them the money you have earned from here. Seeing is believing. I love China

I convince my friends to join mylot by said that mylot is social site just like facebook but it paid us. Unfortunately, most of my friend don't understand about paypal even if I explained to them. Most of my friends never earn online. Furthermore, post in mylot has to use English. It's make me harder to convince them. Currently, I only have two referrals but they don't active much . But that's no problem for me. I think I could make $10 every month by myself to get payout.

That's a bit of my problem too. Not many of my real friends speaks english fluently. And when I tell them it's like facebook, well this is not like facebook! lol. It's even hard how to describe it. I start by saying it's a 'social discussion' site. And they will go 'what is that?!'

Hi damned!! You can show them payment proofs that would be very effective. As they all say you can't convince anyo0ne. I don't even invite my friends here because I don't want to explain that it's legit and you can trust this site. it's better you invite some people who are into writing online or doing jobs online.

Well just show them your earnings. Even discuss it over diner paid by yourself, just to let them know money can be made from this game. I haven't convinced anyone yet though. I sent an email to my brother and he never replied. He must have assumed that its some spammming system, using my Email as a point of origin.

It is really very complicated to achieve recounted, especially for the persons that we are from Spanish-speaking countries. Equal to give a major credibility it is necessary to expect to receive the first payment, and then to exhibit the voucher to our guests. Another way of obtaining recounted they are the banners. For when they will incorporate the Spanish here in Mylot, it us would be of great help.

I can understand your frustration. But I would just explain the purpose of mylot and show your friend payment proofs.
