Celebrities

That would depend on the celebrity. There are celebrities who are such a bad influence on kids displaying their bad behavior for the public to see that it irritates me.

They trade something for it, namely their talents and privacy. They have to cease being a normal citizen and become a public figure with paparazzi following their every foot step. Every mistake they make are publicized on the newspapers or magazines. For that trade, they better get something back for it.

not at all!!! People may say they trade it for their privacy etc, but no that is part of the job! Everyone knows when you become famous the paparazzi are part of it. Its like saying I want to work on wall street, but Id rather not deal with numbers....lol...it doesnt make sense! I find it incredibly outrageous however that celebrities, get paid WAY more than teachers....It just goes to show where our priorities are..

well its the part of film industry. they have the potential to attract audience. so whatever amount they ask, producers have to pay them.. so for them it is worth paying the stars..

They deserve it, showing off themselves in public, acting, singing and dancing is a lot of work and expensive. They need to be beautiful and good looking all the time by pampering their body and wear expensive beautiful clothes. That's expensive to invest so they need a large money.
