does DEATH actully have a pattern?

i recently saw all the 4 parts of FINAL DESTINATION! AND the movie really got me thinking ..as in.. does death actully have a time/date and a pattern..which would ......haunt us...untill it takes us with it~! ofcourse the movie had...too much stuff overboard...bt the concept jus struck a cord....that...what if v can skip death? and ...manage to..beat its..pattern?.. or are v helplless..completly~~!! what causes death?? what happens?? itss sooooooooooooooooo mysterious!!!
