Do you want to live again?

In the Bible, the question is asked, if a man die shall he live again?(Job:14:14). That same question has been asked millions of times both before and since but I have another question, would you prefer for physical death to be the end or would you rather that life continue in some other form? There was a time when I probably thought that everyone wanted life after death, but I've found that this isn't necessary true. There are people who just want to die and for that to be the end, they feel they've had all the life they can take. If it was up to you what would you choose?

NOT a good question. You can be assured that there IS NO afterlife, not in heaven or hell or not by reincarnation. Live the one life you have to the fullest.

Hi again meirhu, You appear to be very certain and we all have a right to our opinion. For myself, I have for as long as I can remember had, what I call a 'knowing' within me. Even as a small child, I 'knew' (that's the only way I know to explain it) that this wasn' my home, that I was meant to be somewhere else. It had nothing to do with religion. I don't feel that it's necessary for me to try to prove it to another, so it's fine with me if someone is an Athiest, Christian, Muslim etc. The important thing is living this life now. Blessings.

I agree with you Pose. But there are degrees of certainty. I would say that there NOT being an afterlife is at least as certain as that water will boil when the kettle is put on the lighted stove. There IS a chance that the water will turn to ice INSTEAD of boiling. Did you know that ?

I know I will. it's not about whether I want to or not. I have lived before. I will live again. I have no doubt of it.

there are times when you think it would be easier to get just the one shot, but I think there's a lot out there to be experienced, and things that need to be done. and as I beleive we have a soul group, the close people and animals we will come back to time and time again, albeit in different relationships sometimes, it would be sad not to connect with those souls again.

I would have to wonder. For the people who want to die and let that be the end of life is it because they do not believe there is another life to look forward to. God the creator of heaven and earth and all that is in it promises a life with no more tears and no more sadness. That in itself is enough to motivate me to believe in a new life after this one! Why would anyone choose a complete form of nothingness if they new there was a wonderful new life waiting for them? I guess that is what you come to if you don't believe God is your creator. I guess I would be with out hope to if I didn't believe in God.

I think that we have something else ahead of us after this life. It would seem to be such a waste to accumulate all this information and experience and then just die. If we truly live as we should, we continue to learn until we die. We would never get a chance to apply all of this knowledge. I think we are meant to use this in the future. Shalom~Adoniah

Sorry Pose, I thought I got that across. I would not want this to be the end. I want to see what will come next. I think something much greater is in store for us after this corpreal life... Shalom~Adoniah

I think that since I intend fully on going to heaven that I choose life again. To know that life will be so different, beautiful and wonderful beyond anything that I could ever imagine is the key to my survival here. Everything that I say and do is for the purpose of not having to face everything being revealed to everyone on judgement day. It is for the purpose of serving God and his purpose which in the end will reflect the beautiful afterlife that I will live with him in heaven. I guess if you are worried that you are going to go to H--l, (not sure if the word is allowed here or not) then you wouldn't want the afterlife to occur. The sad part is that they will have to face it one way or the other. I choose my eternity to be in heaven with God, talking to Jesus.

Hi ddhawkins, Thank you for sharing your views and I understand why you would choice more life since that is your faith. Most people hope for something better beyond this life but we cannot know for certain what that will be and I guess there's a reason for that. Blessings.

But professor jee, they say even if you have done good KARMA in this life you have to go through the cycle at least for some time. What then? Is not it all based on hypothesis? Personally I do not accept all the vies that religion has to offer us. Sorry if I have hurt your faith.

I would like for life to continue in some other form. It would be nice if every time that we come back is for the better ,and we have a happier life.

Hi Mirita, Thank you for commenting and you're right it would be good if that were always the case. Since I believe in reincarnation, I think that the choice is really our own to make it that way. Blessings.

Anyone who has had the opportunity, either by meditation, or via hypnotic trance, to view some of their past lives, would not want this life to be the end. Although there is seldom anything weird, or wonderful, in a past-life, there are some fascinating qualities. Yoga Meditation has shown me short episodes of several of my past lives; a poor Goat Herder on a steep mountain side, a half naked Slave locked to an oar on a Galley Ship at sea, and even as a winsome Harem Girl learning beauty techniques while gazing into a bronze mirror. Generally speaking lives from the past are boring and blase', to the extent that no one would want to relive them. This hindsight is only important as it serves to hi-light our progress as we evolve, experience, and live, lifetime after lifetime, on the journey to God.

yeah i wanna life again. i wanna taste what eternity is like. what living in perfect health with contentment is like if it is forever. i wanna know what immortality is like. i believe that life after our present life is the real thing or the permanent life. we won't have the third life as the second life for me is the eternal life. whatever life is waiting for us, it would definitely an eternal thing that will not end and lasts forever and forever.

I know my spiritual side so to speak. I am no more than a spiritual being. I desire freedom from this physical form. Capabilities go through the roof. Ah, to be FREE AGAIN!! Alas, I realize the reasons for this physical world. Kiddies just must go to school. For those who have taken all the adversity personally and life hurts so bad you can't take it, hold on a bit longer. At the point when learning isn't possible for you or those around you, you will see God. You will know God's Unconditional Love that will heal all hurt. You will understand. You will be happy, open and free as the youngest child. After all we are all very special. We are children of God!!

Hi bird, Thank you for sharing your thoughts here and there are times when I too think of that freedom and my spirit soars. I know that I still have much to learn whether it be here or on some other plain but I agree that we are all children of unconditional love. Blessings.

Of course I want to live again after I die. Life is a good thing and life is celebrated. There are so many things that we can be happy about with our lives so there are also so many reasons for us to be happy if we live again.

According to Job:14:14, the question which you mentioned above I would like to say that those who accepted Jesus Christ as our Saviour in our heart shall live again and also in the Bible says, according to John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, whosoever believed in Him should not perished but have everlasting life.
