Have you ever ran a fund raiser? What kind of fund raising was it?

So I work in a store that helps with silent auctions and was thinking about what a great way to make money for any organization, charity or club. Than I thought wonder what other was you could make some extra cash for that great cause. Is it by selling raffle tickets, silent auctions or selling products? I have used the raffle ticket idea and also selling pizza kits both made our baseball team a large amount of money. What about you?
