All of my life I have loved nothing more than to have nice ice cold Coke. I do sometime drink Spite, of Dr. Pepper. But, there not the same as that ice cold Coke. I even brought it when they came out with Lime Coke. That was a hit for me. A year after they put out the Lime Coke, I wan not able to find it anywhere. Now they only have that in Diet. I don't like diet. As of February 2009 I became a very unhappy camper when I was told by my doctor that I can't drink my Coke or any sodas anymore. I twisted my body to the left and thought I broke a rib as it hurt so bad. Had x-rays done to find that my left lower rib was slanting along with white particles floating from my rib. The doctor told me it was due to my rib starting to lose bone. I have diagnosed with Osteoarthritis. I'm on Speriva to help reverse my bone lose. No more sodas as sodas cause bones to deteriorate. Now I'm stuck with more water or fruit juices. But.... Between you, me and my, My Lot friends, (don't tell my doctor: HE! HE!) I sneak in my ice cold Coke every now and then. Pizza just doesn't taste good with anything else. How many of you out there are just that crazy about Coke that it is the only drink you will have? How would you feel if you where told you could not have you ice cold Coke anymore?

I am not a Coke fan but I know some people who would be tortured if the couldn't have their daily and sometimes hourly Coke fix. Personally, my soda of choice is Volt (red and green).

That is my 16 year old sons choice to. He loves his Volt and green is his favorite right along with Mt. Dew. He is not a coke drinker. My 17 year old daughter will not drink anything but coke. Except with her, it can't be right out of a bottle. She has to have Coke in a can or she will not drink it. Enjoy you Volt.

I have to say, I was so upset when February of 2009 I thought I broke a lower rib on my right side. Went to the doctor only to find out that the pain was from my lower rib moving away from my other ribs and deteriorating causing me to have Osteoarthritis and bone lose. It is due to my drinking way to much coke. I was told that I can no longer have coke. I figure as long as I am drinking more water and fruit juices, I can sink in a coke when I eat a pizza. Cheers to Coke.

I find that of an evening i like to drink coke alot and it is always coca-cola.I think that it tastes better than pepsi and all the other brands that you can get.I am one that also collects points off the bottles aswell.I think that everyone has a preferance to what they prefer to drink.I was told to cut down on cafene at one stage for other reasons and i do not cut down on it.

I always loved Coke. But my parents didn't let me to rink too much because they said it's unhealthy - and it really is. But in my first semester at college, I drank everyday and I started to lose weight, so in the 2nd semester I stopped. A friend of mine used to drink a lot of Coke, and now has quite big problems with her stomach and has restrictions on food & drinks. I have to agree that pizza tastes better with Coke and also other types of food (burgers, fries, chips, popcorn, barbecue). Now I drink Coke form time to time; if there is a special occasion (birthdays/parties), if I want to celebrate something or if my parents want some too. But I only drink diet Coke because I don't want to gain weight again :D

Sorry to hear what Coke has done to your friend. Well, I just started a few weeks ago with drinking diet coke. Just not allowed to have any sodas anymore due to being diagnosed with Osteoarthritis. I really don't like diet coke but can learn to get use to it. I just figure if I am drinking more water and tea everyday, that I can treat myself to one glass of diet coke a week and be okay with not worrying about bone lose. Happy My Lotting :)
