We are Kind OR Cruel!!!!! :

I guess naturally we are good. Why? It is because of the motives behind our behaviors and decisions in life. What we really wanted is just to be happy. This intrinsic desire of happiness is basically good because it promotes survivability and we choose different means to achieve it. The choices that we make is what makes us either good or bad base in human standards. Sometimes, we commit big mistakes in making decisions because no one has taught us how to do it. That is why early training is very much crucial in order to instill right decision making to everyone according to the moral standards each culture upholds. :D

Everyone want to be kind and good. But human life and character is so complex. I totally agree with you. We want to be good, but at times, without we realize it, we hurt someone feelings with our harsh words. Out of jealousy, greed especially for money, people go beyond the boundaries to achieve wealth and become so called 'cruel' people! At that point of time, they are blinded and they thought what they do in Not wrong. Just like you say, at some circumstance people rob and steal just to provide a decend meal for their love ones. Therefore, we should try our best to be good and kind. Prayed for God's grace to guide us and lead us not into temptation and evil... All the best and have a great weekend.

I would like to consider myself a kind person. I don't think I could ever be mean or cruel to someone even if they were cruel to me first. I think a little kindness can go a long way even for those who are mean to me.

It really depends on the situation if a person will react kindly or cruelly. As for me, I just treat people the way they treat me, If they treat me kindly of course I'll be kind to them. But if they treat me with no respect, then I'll show them that I wouldn't be pushed around. I'll make sure that I'll let them know or feel the same way as they have treated me.

I always behave myself as a kind guy, although there are something really annoyed me, I tried to be kind too. I wish my friends all being kind to each other.

I do believe that we humans are programmed to have multiple personalities. It helps us to be flexible as the highest form of animals. As we all know, animals are only gifted with their instinct and that's all that helps them to survive in their world. Humans are quite different. We have our instincts together with our freewill and intellect. Being gifted with all three makes us capable of experiencing emotion which animals do not feel. Our multiple personalities help us in dealing with the situations we get ourselves into by orienting our attitudes towards our emotions. I mean, a person cannot act kindly in both positive and negative situations right? I think that flexibility of personality is one of the things that make us human. Therefore, we all have it.

Everyone was born to be good. As babies, we are like a white cloth / paper without any marks or dirt on it. Circumstances, environments and early childhood education and exposure that leads us to where we are today. We as human should be kind to ourselves and to others too. But live is not that simple. Due to greed, envy and survivals...it had turns many into 'cruel' people that hurts others. I truly hope that the good will reign...
