So, I am on a business/pleasure trip. Tonight is my first night of four staying here. I am a 5 hour flight away from home and I am already suffering from the time difference. After finally falling asleep, the fire alarm went off. It was rough trying to find everything important. I finally made it outside and after about 40 minutes (in the cold rain, of course) wefind out it was a falce alarm! This is my sencond experience like this ( the first time was a legit one, though). Has this ever happened to anyone else before?

oh.. it is quite annoying. but, you cannot consider this to be a "calling wolf" sort of story... .. what if it is a real alarm? .. and, what if you could not get out right on the proper time, .. and, chosen to get back, for that silly garment of yours, .. and, then, got stuck in the mele? ... I have never been to such places, .. even when working.. and so, never experienced the drills of fire-alarm. ... but, I have seen enough on movies. I can never compare your real life trauma, of the alarm going off in the middle of a beautiful sleep.. with that of the movies, but... they give a general idea.! =-= I wish you a happy tour on business, or on pleasure trips too! ... welcome to mylot.

It wasn't fun getting up during that beautiful sleep ;) I didn't take any chances, so I just grabbed my most important belongings and ran outside into the cold, rainy night! Although, I wanted to sleep through it, I also don't want to take the chance of risking my life because I was too lazy.

you have done the right thing.. but, did the hotel staff offer you any hot-drink? .. some hot-chocolate, or black coffee, steaming, .. atleast? .. after it has been drilled out to be a false alarm?... mostly they do! ..
