How Safe is your house?

Ive recently got into the programme 'the real hustle' which shows three people carrying out real life cons and hustles etc. Obviously they give all the things back to the people of their scams though it has bought up a lot of things which I would have never thought of. For example, who of you has a place near your door where you hang your keys or bag? Within a locked door at night you may think it is safe though 'the real hustle' showed that a person doesnt even have to break in to grab these things.
So how safe is your house? I dont just mean alarms and security cameras either. Do you take care of the small things?
Since watching the programme I have become more safety conscious as there are some very clever yet decietful people out there. No longer do I hang my key near the door or leave my bag in the hallway. I make sure I shred important documents and my laptop even sleeps under the bed!

We don`t have alarms, but it`s safe where we live, i don`t think that alarms are not the most important things in protection. Very important is the area where your house is, and the people that live around. We live in a small town in the center of the country, it`s a very quiet city, and we live in the center, where live most of the nicest people of this town.
