Transmitter to Receiver = Communication

Hi friends, i am discussion about my 3-1 subject DIGITAL COMMUNICATION. In the previous semister i have studied about Anolog communication.
Anolog Communication is the fundamental Concept of communicaiton, that comes first.
Then Digital Communication is the advancement of AC(Anolog Communication). Simple example for Anolog communication is TV, Digital Communication is Cellular phone, internet etc.,
In this fast going the latest advancements of communication systems(the systems which are used to communicate) are day by day improving. According to that, we have practice hard, and to get well knowledge on our subject(digital communication).
So my dear i wish to welcome your comments.... and tell me how you are studying(Present 3rd year B.tech JNTU students)..

The common terms we have are following:
Transmitter, Receiver, information, modulated signal, baseband signal(message signal), sampling, Low Pass Filter, companding, etc.,
we have assume them as simple words, and convert them into real world applications, then it is easier to us..

hi rameshchow the only reason I am responding Is because i have heard these words so often by my own son but he never went past junior college but he read and read and read technical books about these various subjects
and is seriously thinking of taking tests to get college credentials. He is for now a computer programmer.
