Hi Perumahan!
Its really hard to control corruption in Indonesia because we don't have strong control over our official. Every one want an easy money by using their position and used it to enrich himself. I never know how our nation will end up if this situation persist.
Leaving Indonesian never will be an option because I love this nation dearly I want to spent my life here. I try to person that never take a corruption money or to be a person who bribe official. I think we all need to start from ourself and hope this act will be spread to others.
Let pray God make miracle for our nation.

My husbands mother and her parents moved to Holland from Indonesia when she was young because of the conditions there.

Corruption in Indonesia is 'entrenched' long ago, before and after independence, in the era of the Old Order, New Order, continued until the Reformation era. Various efforts have been made to eradicate corruption, but the results are still far from the truth.
