Our first born..!! / myLot

I had mixed feelings last night when our first born got his first round of vaccines. It's not just one but two immunizations in one time. He had his BCG on his right deltoid and his Hep. B on his right thigh. He cried so much that I felt so sorry for him to undergo such pain but at the same time relieved that he will be protected on those diseases in the long run and for the rest of his life. Have you been into this situation before? What would you chose then?

I know what you mean when mine got their shots I wanted to cry but it was over before you know it an of course its to protect them

On the side of protecting him, I know it the most since I am a nurse but even though I am advocating it yet it is different when it comes to your own when you see him suffer while on your hands. But it must be. hehe

true but it is so hard when its our babies crying it breaks our hearts knowing we are doing right by them but also knowing we allowed them to get the shots of course they forget in a few minutes I think it bothers the parents more

You are absolutely right, it's just very different when it's your own already. I don't know why but this are coming comments I heard from everyone.
