I lost my first phone to a pickpocket a few years ago. Since then, I am always very wary when using my phone in public places. My hubby also got his phone stolen while he fell asleep one time during a very long bus ride. He was so tired at the time and didn't even feel anything. When he woke up, the phone was gone. A few months ago, my hubby bought a new phone and passed on his old one to our 16 year old son. He hasn't completed transferring all contacts list to his new phone. One week later, my son lost the phone during a taxi ride. I think he was more devastated than his dad was.

In what way or how did your husband lost his mobile phone by the way? As of experience, I lost my mobile phone because someone stole it from me. It happened to me twice and I just can't do anything but to get mad at the thief and move on because he's already on his feet running away with my freaking phone. Ever since then, I am more careful in places where I should be aware of possible thieves you can steal my phone in a second. It is really terrifying and sad.. but at least I learned a lesson. Just buy another phone for your hubby and try to ask your friends for their numbers again. :) Best of luck

He was in a hurry and put the mobile carelessly into his pant pocket. he was riding a motor bike, on one speed breaker, the mobile fell out of his pocket. he realized only after 1 hour. he called me from a telephone booth and told. we rang his number but the person had already discarded the sim. Yes that's what we are doing.

Sorry for your husband, it will be bad feeling that if a mobile is lost to anyone. I once forgot the mobile in internet cafe and came home. I wondered where I left the phone and then remember that left in the internet cafe and went there to get it back, it was late night and I left the cafe when cafe owner was about to close the shop. So, by the time, i reached the internet cafe, it was closed. So, I ranged to my phone, to tell the person who ever taken that it belongs but it was switched off and no response came. The next day morning, I reached the internet cafe in the first hour and by seeing my face, cafe owner said that did you leave your mobile phone here. I said yes and he given back my piece safely instead to robbing the phone. I was luck at that time, that was the only time, i forgot the mobile. I hope you guys might have given complain about the lost of the mobile to police and see that your sim is blocked. If you remember the IME no, then you can track the mobile by approaching to mobile company with a police complaint document. All the best.

I broke my phone few times, & lost them too. That's why I usually back up all my contacts into my computer.

I had lost my cell phone 2 years ago, and fortunately, I got it back the same day. I didn't even know I had lost it when someone had called my daughters phone, and told her that she found a phone in he Walmart parking lot with htr number as a contact and my daughter told the lady that called her that it was my phone that had been lost. Well, to make a long story short, my daughter went out to the parking lot and the woman gave it to her. I was so happy, as it was amazing that someone wwas so nice to have given it back. It had fallen out of my purse, without me even knowing it. I am just happy that the right person found it and I got it back. That kind of thing doesn't happen everyday, that is for sure. Take care, and have a very good day.
