Can you close a paypal account?

I dont want to use my paypal account anymore but I also dont just want to leave my banking info on the internet if I have no more control. Obviously I realize that I dont have much if any control as it is but I'd still feel better if my info wasnt on the internet.
anyone know how to do it?

Just a thought: if you close it then how will you receive your payout from myLot?

call pay pal on the contact page and find out how to close your account

I'm not completely sure if you can, but if I were you, I'd find a support number on PayPal's website, and see if you can get a hold of a representative that would be able to answer your questions and walk you through whatever process you need to go through.
