Again I stumbled upon some weird trivias and I saw something about celery. It is said that if you eat celery it takes more calories to digest it than the celery has. I don't like celery though I just find the taste too strong. I remember in high school my coach said that Pineapple is also like that. So if you want to lose weight then you should eat these foods right?

Yes! But also because they are good for you. Lettuce is the same it takes more calories to digest than it contains, this is true of most greens. It's the roughage. Which is why fiber is so important. Try celery dipped in a little peanutbutter. Yes you are adding a few calories, but if you buy the non salted, non sweetened kind and just eat a small amount it's acutally good for you.

From what I heard is that if you want to lose weight, you need a little extra acid in your body. Not too much! Acid increases your body metabolism by 30%. One trick that I've learned is by putting a few lemon drops on your water. I haven't really tried it, but it makes sense because lemon juice contains acid. Pineapple might be able to do the same too I think because the sour taste is from acid.
However, as I mentioned earlier, I haven't tried any of these tricks. I just do cardios to lose weight. If you can go to gym, doing squats and deadlifts also burn crazy amount of calories. Also, I drink a lot of water. Softdrinks are not a substitute of water. Milk could be a substitute, but remember milk also contains fat.
Fruit juices can also be a substitute, but the sugar in it could turn into fat. The safest way is to drink pure water, do cardio, and watch your diet.
Watching your diet is not cutting off the portion. In my case I had to cut off on fast foods and sweets. Good luck!

Well what you say about celery is actually true, I don't know about that pinnapple thing :) If someone really wants to lose wieght though it's not so much what you eat as what you don't eat. Because I don't think a all celery die is healthy.
